Read Billing email in Billing contact and confirm that the address belongs to the people who should receive billing communications. An email address displayed here does not prove delivery of a particular receipt. Use the invoice reference when investigating a missing message.

Read the payment-method panel before attempting to add or replace anything. Availability depends on the workspace and launch mode. A sample card or disabled control is not evidence of a saved live payment method, and this tutorial collects no card information.
Ask AI about this sectionRecognise gated charging controls #
If Automatic top-up is available, read its trigger and purchase information before considering a real change. If it is absent, do not infer that top-up is active. Practice capacity is separate from paid credits; learning this panel must not initiate a charge.
Ask AI about this sectionVerify a billing change #
After an authorised change in a real workspace, return to the panel and verify the resulting configuration. Use Billing for financial records and refund status. Finishing this walkthrough confirms only that you read the settings, not that payment or top-up was enabled.

- If you arrived from a real workspace, use Return to workspace, then verify the actual record and your permissions before making a change.
Guided component walkthrough #
Each component has one short guided step. Read the explanation, then choose Next; Back revisits the previous component. The cursor only demonstrates useful navigation or an explicit action. Replay action repeats that demonstration, and Skip animation keeps the explanation. Use this written guide for feature details.
Billing settings
- Billing settings: This panel contains billing configuration. The main Billing section contains order and invoice records. Start here for billing contacts or payment-method settings, and use the record list when investigating a particular transaction.
Check the billing contact
- Check the billing contact: Read Billing email in Billing contact and confirm that the address belongs to the people who should receive billing communications. An email address displayed here does not prove delivery of a particular receipt. Use the invoice reference when investigating a missing message.
- Billing email address: The billing email identifies the intended recipient for financial correspondence. Check the address carefully when managing a real workspace; changing it does not change the applicant contact or the sign-in email.
Inspect the payment-method state
- Inspect the payment-method state: Read the payment-method panel before attempting to add or replace anything. Availability depends on the workspace and launch mode. A sample card or disabled control is not evidence of a saved live payment method, and this tutorial collects no card information.
- Saved method and permission: Read the payment-method panel for its current saved-method state and available controls. If management is unavailable, use an authorised billing account. The tutorial never opens card entry or starts a charge.
Recognise gated charging controls
- Recognise gated charging controls: If Automatic top-up is available, read its trigger and purchase information before considering a real change. If it is absent, do not infer that top-up is active. Practice capacity is separate from paid credits; learning this panel must not initiate a charge.
Handle unavailable billing actions
- Handle unavailable billing actions: Read the payment panel message if a control is disabled or unavailable. Your billing permission, workspace readiness and launch mode can affect what is offered. Do not repeatedly add a card or retry a purchase to work around an availability restriction.
Verify a billing change
- Verify a billing change: After an authorised change in a real workspace, return to the panel and verify the resulting configuration. Use Billing for financial records and refund status. Finishing this walkthrough confirms only that you read the settings, not that payment or top-up was enabled.
