Explore the synthetic demo safely

What the demo contains #

The public demo contains fictional applicants, sample teams, illustrative billing records and synthetic check outcomes. Names, numbers and activity are examples for understanding the product. They are not real applicant volume, operational performance or official certificates.

Organisation and individual perspectives demonstrate different responsibilities. A session belongs to the browser visitor. Opening a real account does not transfer demonstration changes into customer records.

Practise without real applicant data #

Use the supplied applicants and fictional email addresses. Do not paste passports, driving licences, dates of birth, addresses or real identity evidence into chat. Use synthetic assets where an upload demonstration is available. If a feature asks for information you cannot safely simulate, start its guided tutorial to explore the supplied sample instead.

A prepared demo action affects the synthetic session only. A team edit, invitation or check request does not send email, take payment, reserve a real customer credit or submit to DBS. Review its approval card to understand the equivalent real workflow.

Try a complete organisation exercise #

1. Find an existing sample check in Checks and inspect its stages.
2. Return to AI chat and prepare a team creation with fictional members.
3. Read the proposed details, revise the name if needed, then approve.
4. Open the updated record and confirm it appears in Teams.
5. Prepare a second change and decline it. The record should remain as it was.

Understand temporary state #

The welcome offer appears once per demo session for each account type. Tutorials lets you resume or restart a walkthrough. Exit tutorial pauses your progress; Exit demo clears it with the rest of the synthetic session.

Demo changes are temporary and tied to the browser session. A separate browser context starts separately. Resetting or ending the demo can discard your synthetic state; it is not an export or a backup. If a conversation reaches its limit, reset the demo or continue with the public guides.

Interpret results correctly #

A simulated completed stage demonstrates layout and next steps. It does not mean a live identity decision was made, that automated identity verification is certified, or that a DBS certificate exists. ClearDBS pre-launch and live-availability controls remain separate from the demonstration.

1. Keep practice information fictional

Read the sample applicant names and totals as examples of how the product works. Do not replace them with real applicant information during a tutorial. Synthetic records are separate from the records in an authenticated customer workspace.

2. Avoid uploading identity evidence

The sample evidence panel demonstrates document outcomes with fictional material. Continue by reading the supplied examples; you do not need a passport image, driving licence or live face capture to learn this workflow.

3. Return to your original work

When practice was launched from a real workspace, use Return to workspace to go back. Written guides can be read inside Help without leaving your page. If you left a form to start practice, only changes saved before leaving can be relied upon.
